We’re opening a new Happy Mixer Gluten Free Bakery, an independently owned and operated franchise location, and are looking for a hands-on Store Manager to help build and lead the team from the ground up.
This location is independently owned and operated by a local franchisee, and this role will work directly with ownership to establish strong operations, team culture, and customer experience from day one.
This is not a passive management role. This is an opportunity to take real ownership of a store and help shape its success from the very beginning.

What This Role Requires
- Leading the team by example during all shifts
- Creating a positive, high-energy, team-first environment
- Maintaining a full, clean, and visually appealing display case at all times
- Ensuring every customer is greeted and has a great experience
- Holding team members accountable to standards and checklists
- Stepping in and supporting the team when needed (including busy periods and call-outs)
- Keeping the store clean, organized, and running smoothly without chaos

Schedule & Structure
- The bakery operates with daytime hours and closes by 6:00 PM (4:00 PM on Sundays)
- This role is designed to support a consistent, sustainable schedule, typically in the 40–45 hour per week range
- This is an hourly leadership position, meaning you are paid for the time you work, including overtime pay (time and a half) for hours worked over 40 in a week
While strong leadership and flexibility are expected, the structure of the business allows for a more balanced schedule compared to traditional restaurant or retail management roles.
The goal is to build and lead a team that operates effectively, allowing you to maintain both high standards and a sustainable work rhythm.
Compensation
- $21–$23 per hour based on experience
