New Bakery Opening
We’re opening a new Happy Mixer bakery, an independently owned and operated franchise location, and are looking for an experienced Head Baker to lead early morning production and help build the kitchen from day one.
This role starts at 2:00 AM and typically finishes around 10:00 AM, so everything is fresh and ready for the day.
You’ll be working in a brand-new, well-equipped kitchen designed to support efficient, organized baking, and will receive hands-on training at existing Happy Mixer locations to learn our proven systems and recipes before opening.
You’ll work directly with the franchise owner to build a strong, organized baking team and take pride in producing high-quality baked goods from scratch.

Role Details
- Early morning shift (2:00 AM start)
- Hourly position with overtime pay (time and a half) over 40 hours
Compensation
- $20–$22 per hour based on experience
This role has a steady, consistent rhythm to it. You’ll work with a small team in a focused, well-organized environment where the day is planned in advance and everyone understands what needs to get done. It’s hands-on, productive work that allows you to stay engaged and take pride in the quality and consistency of what you’re making.
There’s no customer interaction, so your focus stays on the baking process, your team, and executing the day well. By the time most people are starting their day, your production is complete and you’re heading home, having already put in a strong, productive morning.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
