The Happier Life Project (THLP)Position: Reentry Program ManagerLocation: On-site – Lake Elsinore, CASchedule: Full-Time (Hours Vary)Compensation: $68,640 – $72,800Reports To: Program DirectorPosition SummaryThe Reentry Program Manager is the day-to-day operational leader responsible for implementing all activities of The Happier Life Project’s Adult Reentry Grant (ARG). This role supervises a multidisciplinary team—including Integrative Care Navigators (ICNs), Housing Navigators, Workforce Engagement Specialists, Outreach Specialists, and peer-informed support roles. The Program Manager executes all Work Plan activities, ensures program performance, maintains compliance, and delivers high-quality services.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Execution & Operational LeadershipImplement all BSCC ARG Work Plan components.Build workflows, SOPs, schedules, and service calendars.Resolve operational issues and maintain participant flow.Supervision of Reentry StaffSupervise Integrative Care Navigators and other ARG personnel.Provide weekly supervision and coaching.Manage schedules, caseloads, and staff assignments.Housing Services OversightOversee housing assessments, stabilization, and rental assistance.Coordinate supportive housing bed operations.Maintain relationships with landlords and housing providers.Employment Pathways & Workforce EngagementCoordinate employer meet-and-greets and job fair participation.Oversee bi-weekly job search support groups.Manage legal aid clinic coordination.In-Reach Coordination & Pre-Release EngagementLead THLP’s in-reach services within correctional facilities.Coordinate pre-release workshops and open houses.Maintain the Regional Reentry Resource Guide.Data Integrity, Documentation & ReportingEnsure accurate documentation in the EHR.Conduct QA audits and correct documentation issues.Support reporting for BSCC compliance.Partnerships & Community CollaborationRepresent THLP with parole, probation, behavioral health, employers, and partners.Strengthen referral pipelines and cross-agency communication.Fiscal & Compliance ResponsibilitiesTrack participant support funds and rental assistance.Maintain procurement and financial documentation.Support cost allocations, audits, and fiscal reporting.Culture, Safety & Participant-Centered PracticeModel trauma-informed and culturally grounded practices.Promote safety, dignity, accountability, and healing-centered service.QualificationsMinimum Requirements3 years supervisory or program management experience.2 years working with justice-involved adults.Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills.Valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in human services or related field.Lived experience relevant to reentry or recovery.Experience with BSCC, CDCR, or supportive housing.Bilingual English/Spanish.Work EnvironmentOn-site and field-based, including community and correctional settings.Requires flexibility for some evenings and weekends.BenefitsVacation, Sick Leave & 13 Paid HolidaysHealth, Vision, Dental, Life InsuranceRetirement & FSARetention Bonuses (budget permitting)Equal Opportunity & AccessibilityThe Happier Life Project is an equal opportunity employer, committed to a drug-free workplace and ADA compliance.
