Our Educators Insurance Agency team is currently seeking an EIA Sales Producer to join our growing team. This is a full time, non-exempt role. This role is a hybrid opportunity.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The EIA Sales Producer represents Educators Insurance Agency, a division of Hanover Insurance, in effectively managing its customer and prospect relationships. This individual is responsible for selling insurance products to new customers through both inbound and outbound call campaigns, as well as manage existing client relationships.

Compensation:
The target hiring range for this role may vary based on geographic location and other factors, including merit or performance, demonstrated proficiency, skills for the role, education, travel requirements, and experience. Additional compensation may include an annual bonus (which could take the form of a general bonus, sales incentive, or short-term incentive), long-term incentive or spot recognition awards. The posted range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.

The EIA Sales Producer represents Educators Insurance Agency, a division of Hanover Insurance, in effectively managing its customer and prospect relationships. This individual is responsible for selling insurance products to new customers through both inbound and outbound call campaigns, as well as manage existing client relationships.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Use knowledge and selling techniques to build value in the product tailored to the customer
- Overcome objections & solve prospect or policyholder problems
- Perform high volume of outreach to leads and prospects to drive new business growth
- Build rapport, identify customer needs, and advise clients on coverage
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals with a secondary focus on agency retention campaigns
- Employ an “Account” focus and deliver to the customer all relevant products for their household – Home, Auto, Toys
- Navigate and execute insurance transactions within the appropriate system: Agency Management System, TAP Sales, AS 400, etc.
- Expand knowledge to all carriers in the agency, remarketing risks only when appropriate
- Provide training and mentorship to Associate Sales producers
- Handle complex and high-value customer accounts, providing proactive touchpoints to increase customer retention
- Participate and provide feedback during marketing campaigns designed to drive new business to the agency
- Must use established guidelines and techniques such as timeliness, quality and effectiveness to respond to all inquiries
- Appropriately access underwriting risk and apply skill to business guidelines in accordance with carrier specifications
- May recommend and sell additional or increased coverage in appropriate situations and within specified guidelines - dependent upon Regional location
- Partner with underwriting, claims, accounting, service when needed to enhance the overall customer experience
- Assist with various projects and pilots that support agency and company initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience in sales and customer service
- Must have and maintain appropriate state license(s) and continuing education credits
- Strong sales and service orientation
- An engaging, outgoing personality and passion for helping customers
- Ability to communicate well to both prospects and customers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, initiative and the ability to multi-task are crucial
- Excellent analytical, decision-making and organizational skills
- Strong typing capabilities and PC proficiency
- Easily adapts to new or different changing situations, requirements or priorities
- Cultivates an environment of teamwork and collaboration
