Applied Behavior Analysis is the science of learning and behavior. ABA focuses on understanding behavior within the context of its environment and the why behind it. It does so via the collection of data to identify trends and patterns, and then allows for structuring targeted interventions and teaching with the goal of building skills to replace behaviors that serve as barriers. At The Hangout Spot, we apply the science to understanding learners' social strengths and deficits with the goal of eliminating roadblocks to socially successful interactions.
