Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and provide outstanding customer service that fosters a welcoming environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, processing payments, and balancing registers with precision.
• Monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible serving practices in compliance with legal regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for catering events, banquets, or special functions.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while managing time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible serving practices.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport quickly.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order totals.
• Ability to manage time efficiently in high-volume environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous experience in food industry roles such as serving or catering is advantageous; retail math skills are also beneficial.
