- 2 years of management experience in upscale or high-volume full-service dining — fine casual, polished casual, or fine dining
- Strong floor presence and proven ability to run a shift at volume without sacrificing service standards
- A coaching mindset: holds the team accountable while developing people at every level
- Great verbal and written communicator
- Experience with scheduling, labor management, P&L basics, and FOH systems (HotSchedules, Toast, or similar)
- Run the floor during service — guest interaction, check flow, and real-time problem-solving
- Interview, hire, train, schedule, and develop FOH staff
- Set shift-specific service goals and hold the team to them
- Lead pre-shift menu class and daily line-up
- Write and manage weekly FOH schedules
- Facilitate departmental and weekly manager meetings
- Support monthly inventory and assist with cost controls
- Reinforce safety, health, and compliance standards throughout the operation
