We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer ready to play a key role in advancing manufacturing engineering within our growing company. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key member of the engineering team for the organization, taking ownership of engineering initiatives from concept to implementation.
- Partner with the sales team to evaluate new and custom product opportunities, ensuring manufacturability and efficient production strategies.
- Design, build, and implement new fixtures and tooling for projects; evaluate and improve existing fixtures to enhance productivity and quality.
- Work directly on the production floor assisting machinists with setup, troubleshooting, and problem-solving on CNC Swiss lathes and milling machines.
- Troubleshoot machine errors, mechanical failures, and production challenges to minimize downtime and maintain quality standards.
- Develop CAD models and drawings in Autodesk Inventor to support product development and manufacturing processes.
- Identify and lead process improvements that reduce cost, increase efficiency, and improve safety.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, accountability, and teamwork within the production environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related discipline required).
- 3–5 years of experience in a machine shop/manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of CNC Swiss lathes and milling machines.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Autodesk Inventor required).
- Proven ability to design and build fixtures.
- Hands-on problem solver with a track record of driving process improvements.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across sales, engineering, and operations.
- Must be comfortable working 100% onsite in a production facility (no remote or hybrid options).
