Duties

• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions to meet client preferences and enhance their natural beauty
• Provide expert consultations on hair care, color theory, and styling options tailored to each client’s unique features and lifestyle
• Execute specialized treatments such as eyelash extensions, hair threading, and nail care with precision and sanitation standards
• Manage appointments efficiently using salon software like MINDBODY to ensure smooth scheduling and client flow
• Assist clients at the front desk by answering questions, booking appointments, and upselling retail products like hair care and makeup items
• Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace adhering to all health regulations; properly sterilize tools including straight razors and other barbering equipment
• Mentor junior staff members by sharing techniques in hair styling, retail sales, and customer service excellence to foster team growth
• Support store management with inventory tracking, retail math calculations, and achieving sales targets through effective upselling strategies

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in diverse hair services including color application, styling, and extensions
• Proficiency in salon software systems such as SQUIRE for scheduling and client management
• Strong knowledge of color theory, sanitation practices, and the latest trends in hair styling and nail care
• Skilled in performing hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and retail sales techniques
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients warmly while understanding their needs
• Experience with store management tasks such as inventory control and retail math calculations is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety

Pay: $23.20 - $27.94 per hour
