Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional customer service.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to identify appropriate life and health insurance products for clients.
- Engage in outside sales activities, including networking, telemarketing, and attending community events to generate leads.
- Negotiate terms of insurance policies and ensure clients understand their options clearly.
- Provide ongoing support to clients regarding benefits administration and claims processes.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and policy details through effective sales administration practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations (including HIPAA), and product offerings to provide informed recommendations.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies that enhance product visibility in the market.
- Utilize analysis skills to assess market conditions and client feedback for continuous improvement in service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in insurance sales or related fields such as retail sales or outside sales is highly desirable.
- Licensed
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with benefits administration processes and customer service best practices.
- Knowledge of telemarketing techniques is advantageous for lead generation efforts.
- Ability to analyze market data and client needs to inform sales strategies effectively.
