We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an HVAC Wholesale Inside Sales Representative.
Job Summary: The HVAC Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our HVAC contractors and wholesale customers. This role involves processing orders, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of information between the customer and the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Interaction:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate HVAC products and solutions.
2. Order Processing:
- Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Verify product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure orders are entered into the system promptly and accurately.
3. Issue Resolution:
- Address and resolve customer concerns and issues in a professional manner.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve product or service issues.
4. Product Knowledge:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s HVAC products and services.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in training and development opportunities to stay updated on product knowledge and customer service best practices.
6. Sales Support:
- Assist the sales team with customer account management and order follow-up.
- Identify and communicate potential sales opportunities to the sales team.
7. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on customer service activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in HVAC or customer service is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales support role, preferably in the HVAC industry.
- Understanding of HVAC products and terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent with computer applications and operating systems including Windows and all Microsoft 365 applications.
