Duties

• Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver products along assigned overnight routes, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices
• Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs
• Conduct heavy lifting and merchandise merchandising with proper techniques to prevent injury and maintain product integrity
• Build lasting customer relationships through professional communication, addressing client needs, and upselling additional products or services when appropriate
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, route logs, and inventory records to ensure smooth operations
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries, resolve issues promptly, and provide excellent customer service
• Uphold safety standards by performing vehicle inspections before each shift and reporting any maintenance concerns promptly

Requirements

• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving preferred
• No Automatic Restriction; Doubles/Triples Endorsement required for Shuttles
• Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and DOT regulations to ensure compliance at all times
• Basic math skills for calculating pricing, measurements, and route adjustments
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team coordination, and problem-solving
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices throughout the shift
