Job Overview
The H‑KORP Systems is seeking a Functional Project Manager to support day‑to‑day management of project activities and ensure successful delivery of functional and technical project components. Duties
- Manage daily project activities, schedules, risks, and functional deliverables
- Lead cross‑functional teams across IT, engineering, business, and stakeholder groups
- Coordinate project scope, timelines, and budget adherence
- Apply PMBOK methodologies and maintain required project documentation
- Support organizational change management activities
- Prepare and deliver project reports, briefings, and status updates
- Ensure alignment between functional requirements and technical execution
Skills
- Project management (minimum 5 years)
- IT project management (minimum 5 years)
- Leadership of successful on‑time, on‑budget projects
- Experience supporting enterprise‑wide implementations
- Organizational change management (minimum 3 years)
- Use of PMI PMBOK methodologies and artifacts (minimum 5 years)

General Experience
The proposed candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience managing IT‑related projects. This individual must have experience in a leadership role for at least three (3) successful projects that were delivered on time and within budget, including a project similar in size to the State of Maryland enterprise‑wide implementation. In addition, the candidate must have at least three (3) years of experience in managing projects with an organizational change management component that involves working with stakeholder groups across the organization. The candidate must possess at least five (5) years of experience using PMI’s PMBOK methodologies and artifacts
Specialized Experience

Pay: $73,687.90 - $88,742.41 per year
