The Pastry Cook provides guests with an exceptional experience by creating personalized moments in every interaction and preparing the most delicious products.
Role & Responsibilities
- Organize and manage the pastry section of the kitchen to make sure work environment is successful.
- Preparing ingredients and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Create new recipes for seasonal menus.
- Passionate about the development of pastries and desserts.
- Maintain inventory of the stock of baking ingredients.
- Ensuring safety and health regulations are met.
- Train and supervise new team members.
Requirements & Physical Demands
- Min one year experience in baking and pastry is preferred.
- Ability to work, collaborate and problem solve in a fast-paced environment for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting.
- Personable and enjoys engaging with guests and team members.
- Availability to work onsite with a ?exible schedule often including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
