Customer Service Representative - Pawn Retail

Hi, We are The Gun Shop Crossville, The 2nd of 3 stores. We are a small business looking to add to our team. We are a retail store and pawn shop. We buy, sell, trade, and pawn.

We are looking for someone whom has customer service experience. Also, we are looking for someone who wants to work in a growing Company that has a small family atmosphere work environment.

We need someone willing to work every Saturday. We need someone 4- 5 days per week.

1. Greeting Customers and Qualifying them as if they need a Pawn, need to sell an Item or want to make a purchase. Once trained, you will be responsible for making loans from $20.00 to $500.00. On occasions we loan $500 to $5,000 based on qualifying merchandise brought into us, larger items such as boats, vehicles, trailers, mowers, gold, jewelry, etc.

2. Working the back —putting away merchandise (pawns and buys). Pulling pawns and buys when customers do not redeem their items, cleaning up the merchandise, taking pictures of merchandise and researching items for Sale online and in the store. Listing items for sale on eBay and GunBroker. Shipping items out to customers.

3. Helping keep the store clean by emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning glass. Facing inventory. Restocking shelves. Reorganizing as needed.

4. Learning all of our intricate procedures such as: Gun Laws and how to perform a background check, how to test Gold & Silver, how to grade a diamond for size and quality, how to make a layaway, type up a loan. You will need to become familiar with Laws and our Procedures regarding cash purchases.
