Position Overview:
The Bakery Assistant supports the Pastry Chef in daily production and prep. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with kitchen or bakery experience who wants to grow in a creative, professional environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with mixing, shaping, baking, and finishing pastries
- Prep ingredients and follow recipes accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe kitchen
- Help with inventory, labeling, and restocking
- Support the Pastry Chef with day-to-day tasks and special projects
Requirements:
- Prior bakery or commercial kitchen experience (required)
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Comfortable with early mornings and fast-paced work
- Reliable, organized, and eager to learn
- Able to take direction and work as part of a team
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
