Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Designs comprehensive treatment strategies by executing accurate Behavioral Assessments and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) to identify individual needs and target behaviors.

• Implements effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to promote positive behavioral changes and skill acquisition.

• Monitors client progress through systematic Data Collection and Analysis, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Empowers parents and caregivers by providing targeted Parent and Family Training, ensuring consistency and support beyond the clinical setting.

• Leads multidisciplinary team members by delivering rigorous Staff Supervision and Training, overseeing hiring, professional development, and daily work direction.

• Ensures a safe therapeutic environment by executing proper Crisis Intervention techniques when challenging behaviors escalate.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Holds a Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a closely related field.

Experience

• Brings at least two years of clinical experience working directly with children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

• Demonstrates a proven track record in designing behavior plans and managing behavioral intervention programs.

• Possesses previous experience leading, training, and mentoring support staff in a clinical or educational setting.

Knowledge/Skills

• Applies expert-level knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and developmental psychology principles.

• Navigates complex behavioral challenges with strong problem-solving skills and emotional resilience.

• Communicates effectively with families, team members, and community partners to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Manages multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high standards of clinical documentation and data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Holds an active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential in good standing.

• Speaks a second language to connect with a diverse community of youth and families.

• Completes specialized training in advanced crisis management and trauma-informed care.
