POSITION SUMMARY
As part of a team, this position is responsible for overall maintenance of all facilities of The Guidance Center, Inc.
POSITION DUTIES
- Conducts preventative maintenance inspections of the facilities.
- Performs basic maintenance repairs using knowledge of materials, methods, machines and tools involved for general repairs and maintenance of equipment and buildings.
- Interacts with contractors and vendors for repair and maintenance of the general facility.
- Assist in snow removal during winter months.
- Assist in planning for upcoming projects.
- Assist in the coordination for the installation and removal of equipment, office furniture, and fixtures.
- Responsible for documentation of department related paperwork.
- Assist with vehicle scheduling for service and repair.
- Maintain working knowledge of safe handling of maintenance related chemicals.
- Respond to Code Green calls and assist with de-escalation through agency approved methods.
- Respond to stand-by requests.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
GENERAL EXPECTATIONS
- Provide high quality customer service to internal and external customers.
- Must work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
- Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
- Participate in Quality Improvement and Performance Improvement Processes of the agency.
- Complete all TGC required trainings on time.
- Maintains a high level of professionalism while performing job functions.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to learn.
- This position is 100% onsite/TGC campus, in the state of Arizona.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Two years of experience in maintenance or repair field.
- Knowledge of construction tools.
- Familiar with mechanical equipment.
- Can acclimate to sudden temperature changes.
- Ability to perform in inclement weather.
- May require travel and longer or irregular hours.
- Must have a valid driver license with no restrictions.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arizona level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
