Job Title: MRI Supervisor

Position Overview:
The MRI Supervisor oversees the daily clinical and operational activities of the MRI department to ensure quality patient care, workflow efficiency, and adherence to regulatory standards. This role is responsible for coordinating MRI services, developing best practices, monitoring performance, and guiding staff to maintain high service and safety standards. The MRI Supervisor also collaborates closely with Diagnostic Imaging leadership to support departmental goals, staff training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily MRI department operations, including staffing, scheduling, workflow, and equipment utilization.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies, safety policies, and accreditation standards.
- Provide clinical guidance and act as the primary resource for MRI-related procedures, protocols, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Assist in developing and implementing department policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Support performance improvement, standardization, and optimization strategies across imaging services.
- Monitor quality assurance measures and ensure high standards of customer service and patient care.
- Evaluate employee competencies and coordinate training and professional development activities.
- Collaborate with leadership to manage departmental projects and ensure timely completion.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Current ARRT(MR) certification OR ARMRIT certification (with requirement to obtain ARRT(MR) within 12 months of hire/transfer).
- Venipuncture Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior supervisory or management experience in a hospital MRI setting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
- Bilingual in Spanish.

Pay: $98,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
