Behavior Technician

Duties

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Collect and analyze data on client behaviors, progress, and response to interventions to inform ongoing treatment strategies
• Teach skills through naturalistic play and interactions.
• Support teaching sessions focused on communication, social skills, and functional independence through engaging activities
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies
• Collaborate closely with supervisors, therapists, educators, and families to ensure consistency and effectiveness of care plans
• Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that promotes growth, safety, and emotional well-being for clients

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Valid Michigan Driver's License
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
