Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This role involves creating a nurturing and educational environment that fosters childhood development and encourages learning through play. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth. As stated above the pay starts at $16.00 an hour, once orientation and training are completed you are eligible for $240/ month bonus as well.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of children in your care.
  • Provide a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
  • Supervise daily activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a supportive community.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents regarding their development.
  • Encourage social skills through group activities and playtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones.
  • Requirements
  • Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings is preferred.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff.
  • Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
