Pizza Crew Member - The Grove Pizza Company

The Grove Pizza Company at Cottonwood Shores is looking for friendly, dependable Pizza Crew Members to join our small but growing team. We will soon operate in a fun, local outdoor food park environment with pizza, events, pickleball, drinks, and a strong community feel.

This is a hands-on role in a pizza truck, so we are looking for people who are reliable, willing to learn, and comfortable helping wherever needed — from prepping ingredients and making pizzas to taking orders, helping customers, and keeping the truck clean and organized.

Food experience is helpful, but not required. A great attitude, dependability, and willingness to work as part of a team matters the most. Retirees, veterans, second-career applicants, and those returning to the workforce are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

· Prepare pizzas, toppings, and other menu items according to recipes and food safety guidelines

· Take customer orders and provide friendly, helpful service

· Operate the POS system and handle payments accurately

· Help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary food truck and surrounding grounds

· Assist with prep work, deliveries, stocking, dishes, trash, and daily opening/closing tasks

· Work efficiently during busy periods while keeping a Smile

· Follow food safety, sanitation, and handwashing procedures

· Communicate well with team members and help create a welcoming guest experience

Qualifications

· Friendly, dependable, and willing to learn

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment

· Able to stand for long periods and work in a galley kitchen

· Able to work in warm or outdoor conditions, especially during busy service times

· Basic math and communication skills

· Food service, pizza, restaurant, military, customer service, or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required

· Food Handler certification is a plus, but not required

· TABC certification is a plus, but not required

Schedule

· Part-time and full-time opportunities available

· Weekend availability is especially helpful

· Typical operating hours may include shifts between 8:00 AM and 11:00 PM

Pay

· Competitive hourly pay based on experience

· Tips may be available depending on position and schedule
