Your Role:
As the Director of Nursing, you are a key member of our leadership team, responsible for integrating and coordinating a patient-centric nursing strategy with a strong focus on quality care. You’ll manage, train, and support nursing staff while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Responsibilities include:
Treat and care for residents and their property with dignity and respect
Work cooperatively with healthcare team members to maintain established standards of care
Manage patients’ data and medical records as confidential records
Communicate with doctors, patients, and family members about patient health
Ensure the nursing unit complies with all local, state, and federal regulations
Train and onboard new nursing staff
Implement new procedures and policies, ensuring staff understanding
Develop and implement quality assurance and risk management programs
Make daily rounds to observe staff, address issues, and ensure services are consistent with resident needs
Assist with continuous quality improvement and corrective follow-up actions
Complete other duties at the discretion of management
Who You Are:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Illinois
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Experienced leader with prior Nursing Home or Long-Term Care experience
Skilled in developing teams and fostering a positive, resident-centered culture
Knowledgeable in healthcare regulations and nursing best practices
Professional, reliable, and passionate about delivering exceptional care
