What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Removal Team Member position at The Grounds Guys?
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently remove snow from driveways, sidewalks, entrances, parking lots, and walkways
- Operate equipment such as:
- Snow blowers
- Walk-behind and tailgate salters
- Shovels and ice scrapers
- Spread salt/ice melt according to site requirements
- Follow assigned routes and complete work within time expectations
- Communicate with crew leaders and dispatch during storms
- Complete pre- and post-storm equipment checks
- Maintain professionalism with clients and property managers
Requirements
- Must be available during winter storm events (nights, weekends, holidays as needed)
- Must have reliable transportation to the shop or job sites
- Ability to work in cold, snowy, physically demanding conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team
- Experience in snow removal is a plus, but not required — we will provide training
