What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscaping Foreman position at The Grounds Guys of Ridgewood?
- Manage team of landscaping professionals and assume the responsibility of motivating, coaching, and mentoring
- Perform landscape maintenance duties, such as mowing, trimming, pruning fertilizer application, weed control, aeration, seasonal clean-up
- Perform landscape enhancement activities such as mulch application, flower/plant installation, top soil application, lawn seeding
- Contribute to business development by responding to customer inquiries, handling customer proposals, and marketing the services of the business
- Prior experience in the landscaping industry
- Valid driver’s license
- Previous leadership experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature
