What are the responsibilities and job description for the PASS Worker (Richmond, RI) position at The Groden Center?
Schedule: Flexible evenings and weekends mainly between hours of 3:00PM - 9:00PM, no more than 6 hours per day (between 10-12 hours per week)
Rate of Pay: $20 per hour
Our Groden Network PASS workers are a part of our Community Home Therapeutic Services Program. This role collaborates with teachers, caregivers, and parents to support children at their home in developing social skills, daily living tasks, and independence at home, school, and the community. Here you can help teach children ages 2-21 years old with Autism and other developmental delays to communicate effectively, play appropriately, and learn important life skills. We do this with person-centered individualized care and support. You can help make a difference in the life of a child and their family while being supported by a team of enthusiastic, dedicated, knowledgeable professionals.

Education, Experience and Skills Needed:
- No experience required, but preference to those who have some experience with individuals who have autism and developmental disabilities (training is provided)
- Previous social/human services experience preferred (which may include and not limited to any volunteer, intern, teaching or employed experience with individuals with developmental disabilities)
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to read, write, and speak in English proficiently
- Ability to speak, see & hear clearly/audibly, as well as write legibly for documentation
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Professional and respectful communication skills with clients and their families or other parties
- Ability to lift and transport in personal vehicle as needed
- Ability to sit, stand, lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, reach and/or move regularly
- Valid driver's license for at least 3 years, with a registered and insured vehicle
- CPR/First Aid Certification (We provide training if needed)
- PASS required trainings (We provide training if needed)
