Full-Time Director of Children's Community Based Programs Needed in Rhode Island!
Schedule: Full-Time; 40 hours per week
Salary: $85,000- $95,000 Annually (based on education and experience)
The Groden Center's Community and Home Therapeutic Services (CHTS) department is hiring a Full-Time Program Director of Children's Community-Based Programs. This role is responsible for the clinical, operational, and administrative oversight of the agency's community-based children's services, including Treatment Foster Care (TFC), Family Preservation Program (FPP), Parent Family Education Program (PFEP), Home Therapeutic Services (HTS), PASS, and related programs.
The Program Director provides leadership to multidisciplinary teams, ensures regulatory and contractual compliance, oversees quality assurance initiatives, and promotes the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, family-centered services. This position works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for children and families while advancing organizational goals and strategic priorities.

Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
- Licensure: Independent clinical licensure required, including: LICSW, LMHC, BCBA, PsyD/PhD, or other comparable clinical licensure
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience managing clinical staff and supervisors
- Experience working with children and families impacted by behavioral health disorders, developmental disabilities, trauma, foster care involvement, and complex family systems required
- Experience managing community-based behavioral health programs and multidisciplinary teams preferred
- Knowledge of Medicaid, insurance authorization processes, utilization management, and regulatory compliance required
- Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years with reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care certifications
- Availability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to program emergencies as needed

- Experience with quality improvement, program evaluation, and data-driven decision making

Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective program operations, service delivery, and achievement of program outcomes
- Support program growth, development, and strategic initiatives
- Ensure clinical services are delivered in accordance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies
- Provide supervision, consultation and guidance to clinical supervisors, staff and interns
- Monitor treatment outcomes, service effectiveness, and quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in complex case reviews and crisis management activities
- Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and develop staff
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth
- Ensure compliance with DCYF, Medicaid, commercial insurance, licensing, accreditation, and contractual requirements
- Monitor program performance indicators, productivity, utilization, and documentation standards
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and executive leadership on audits, program evaluations, and corrective action plans
- Promote positive relationships with children, families, stakeholders, and community partners
