Pastry Chef and Baker - Full and Part Time

Job Summary
We are seeking an eager to learn Pastry Chef/Baker to join our fast paced wholesale bakery. This position is full time and we have an available DAY SHIFT (6am - 3pm) and AFTERNOON SHIFT (12pm - 8pm). Must be a team player while able to work independently. Baking experience is necessary and high volume knowledge is even better.... We move fast!

Duties

• Prepare a variety of pastries and baked goods with attention to detail and presentation.
• Manage food production processes efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of fresh products.
• Package baked goods securely for wholesale delivery.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring ingredients, and assembling desserts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and improve existing menu items.
• Handle food handling procedures responsibly, adhering to all health regulations and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven pastry experience with a strong portfolio of baked goods.
• Knowledge of food production, preparation techniques, and kitchen operations within the food industry.
• Experience in baking, cooking, food handling, and maintaining high standards of food safety.
• Familiarity with packaging techniques suitable for retail or catering environments.
• Strong culinary experience in restaurant or catering settings preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
