Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team at Cut-5 (the full service restaurant within the luxurious Boca Bridges community). The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. This role requires excellent hospitality skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively. The Host/Host will ensure that guests feel welcomed and valued while maintaining a smooth flow of operations within the restaurant.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times, menu options, and special events.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with food service operations and restaurant environments is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest relations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
