The Greer Group has a great temp-to-hire Machine/Press operator opportunity for motivated individuals looking to start or grow a career in manufacturing! We're seeking dependable, detail-oriented candidates to join a growing production team. No manufacturing experience is required—we'll train the right individuals with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts:
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend off, giving you more time to spend with family and friends!
What You'll Do
- Inspect plastic parts to ensure they meet quality standards from presses during production
- Package finished products according to work instructions
- Operate and monitor production equipment
- Perform trimming, assembly, and other secondary operations
- Record production and scrap information
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work as part of a team to meet production goals
Qualifications
- No previous manufacturing experience required—paid training provided!
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for the duration of your shift
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to identify product defects and color variations
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
