The Greer Group is seeking an experienced Machinist for a 2nd Shift opportunity with a growing manufacturing company. If you are a skilled machinist who can work independently, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high-quality standards, we want to hear from you!
Pay: $24–$25/hour DOE
Shift: 2nd Shift 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, Monday - Thursday

What You'll Do
- Set up and operate CNC lathes, milling machines, and other machining equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and technical drawings
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and quality inspections
- Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMM equipment
- Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- Utilize hand and power tools to support production operations
- Follow all safety procedures and lean manufacturing practices
- Work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Previous machinist experience required
- Experience with CNC mills and CNC lathes
- Knowledge of CNC programming
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on 2nd shift
