Appliance Technician

The Greer Group has a great direct hire opportunity for a reliable and hands-on Dishwasher Rental Appliance Technician to manage and support a commercial dishwasher rental program. This is a field-based role where you will service equipment, deliver supplies, and build strong relationships with restaurant clients across Western North Carolina.

This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the program and grow into a leadership role overseeing operations and additional staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial dishwashers at customer locations
• Deliver cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment to restaurant clients
• Manage a daily/weekly service route across WNC (including Asheville, Hendersonville, Brevard, and surrounding areas)
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on-site
• Monitor equipment performance and proactively address maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate service records and inventory levels
• Assist with program growth, with opportunity to step into a supervisory/management role

Qualifications:

• Experience servicing appliances or mechanical equipment (commercial or residential)
• Clean driving record and ability to operate a company vehicle
• Strong work ethic and reliability, this role requires independence and accountability
• Comfortable with hands-on, physical work and frequent travel throughout the day
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in the field
