Our client, a real estate investment firm, is seeking a strong Property Accounting Manager to join their team.
Essential Duties
- Oversee and process Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Perform Bank and account reconciliations
- Generate Profit and Loss statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Prepare and update financial statement forecasts and budgets.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
- Review daily list of revenue activity to ensure accountability of activity, adjustments, tax liability and general ledger coding and posting monthly into the GL.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 3 years of relevant real estate accounting experience
- CPA highly preferred (or progress towards)
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office
