About the Company:
Our client is a healthcare company in Mercer County that is looking to bring on a Controller that will manage all day to day finance functions, implement new processes/systems, and work hand-in-hand with the CEO!
MUST HAVE MULTI-ENTITY/UNIT EXPERIENCE AND BE EXTREMELY TECH/SYSTEM SAVVY
Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual financial planning and budgeting process, collaborating with various departments on improvement projects and defining the budget for the following year.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flows, and balance sheets. Provide detailed analysis and commentary on the financial data.
- Manage cash flow effectively to ensure the company's financial stability.
- Implement efficient expense management strategies, including utilizing tools like bill.com and credit card expense management tools.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring favorable terms, leveraging discounts, comparing prices, and maintaining contracts.
- Design and facilitate compensation discussions with doctors, ensuring fair and competitive compensation packages.
- Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare and present financial reports to various stakeholders, including doctors, banks, and the board of directors.
- Collaborate with accountants on compliance matters, sales tax, use tax, and end-of-year reporting requirements.
- Supervise and manage the bookkeeper and collections teams, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience of accounting experience
- Preferred: Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Great verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
