Position: Bar and Beverage Assistant Manager

Primary Responsibilities: (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.)
· Advancing all cocktail, spirit, and beer offerings to that of a world-class level
· Communicate expectations and engage in supervising and holding staff accountable for 5-star service
· Assist Bar Manager in overseeing the daily operations of all beverage services
· Creation of standardized outlet product pars and consistency in pricing
· Adhering to and enforcing all safety criteria
· Daily payroll calculating and weekly payroll reporting
· Assist Bar Manager in scheduling of bartenders, beverage entertainers and bar backs for the food and beverage outlets weekly
· Daily quality assurance and adherence to standards testing
· Assist Bar Manager in training of all new beverage employees and continuing education of senior staff
· Monthly beer and spirit inventories
· Assisting Bar Manager when needed
· Assist Bar Manager as point of contact for all spirit, beer, and cocktail supply vendors
· Maintenance of all beverage menu’s
Secondary Responsibilities:
· Assist Bar Manager in Documentation of employee’s attendance and performance feedback
· Assist Bar Manager in completing employee evaluations and certifications
· Assist Bar Manager in completing monthly financial variance reports
· Knowledge of all beverages including proper mixology techniques
· Knowledge of all beverage service procedures
Normal Working Hours: (Shift, days)
· 10-12 hours per day in season
· Weekends, holidays, and nights

Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.)
· Supervision of Beverage Staff (preferably in a five star/five diamond setting)
Educational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study)
· High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
· College or Hospitality related degree suggested
Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents)
· Good communication skills with guest and staff
· Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond accordingly
Technical Requirements:
· Operate P.O.S.
· Operate Timesaver (Payroll)
· Operate Opera (Reservation System)
