About the Role:

As a Budtender, you will be the face of our dispensary, providing knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient service to our guests. You’ll help guide customers through their cannabis experience, from answering questions and making product recommendations to ensuring accurate sales and compliance with state regulations.

Preferred Experience:

While direct budtending experience is a plus, it is not required. We especially encourage applications from candidates with experience in:

• High-volume retail environments (e.g. busy retail stores, grocery, etc.)
• Fast-paced service industry roles (e.g. baristas, bartenders, servers, etc.)
• Customer service roles that require multitasking and working efficiently under pressure

Your expertise in cannabis strains, products, and accessories will help create a welcoming and informative environment for our clientele.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide them with personalized assistance in selecting cannabis products.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and priced.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Provide product demonstrations and educate customers about various strains, consumption methods, and effects.
• Answer customer inquiries via phone or in-person with professionalism and clarity.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the dispensary.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred, particularly in environments such as grocery stores or specialty shops.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette, to effectively engage with customers.
• Knowledge of cannabis products, including strains and their effects, is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems is an advantage.
