Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using OpenTable or Aloha POS systems.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including food preparation methods and ingredients.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Uphold all food handling and safety regulations to ensure guest health and satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in a server role or similar position within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or Aloha POS systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
- Experience in nightclub or fast-paced dining environments is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the business needs.
