Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring timely food preparation and service.
- Develop and design creative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
- Manage food production processes, including cooking, plating, and presentation.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs.
- Implement cost control measures through effective inventory control and menu planning.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and team management.
- Assist in catering events and banquets as needed, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a culinary role within the food industry, preferably in fine dining or restaurant management.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing shifts.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Experience in menu planning, food preparation, and catering services.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred; additional certifications in food handling or safety are a plus.
