Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding natural living products that meet their needs and preferences
- Maintain accurate retail sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash register operations and cash handling
- Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are well-organized, labeled correctly, and replenished regularly
- Assist with merchandising efforts to create attractive displays that highlight featured items and promotions
- Handle retail store product knowledge with confidence, staying informed about new arrivals and bestsellers
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries professionally via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Skills
- Past retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills to assist customers and provide a positive experience
- Experience with POS systems, cash register operations, retail sales transactions, and cash drawer handling
- Knowledge of retail math for accurate pricing, discounts, and change calculations
- Customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette
- Familiarity with merchandising principles to create appealing displays that drive sales
- Basic math skills necessary for daily retail operations and cash handling accuracy
- Enthusiasm for natural living products along with a desire to educate others about wellness options
