What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Greenhouse Manager position at The Green Escape?
Job Overview
We are an online plant shop and operate out of 2 commercial greenhouses.
We have liners, 4" pots, 6 " pots and hanging baskets. Our inventory changes each week so we need someone to keep the inventory organized and healthy.
We use a 100 gallon commercial sprayer for insecticides, pesticides and fungicides.
The ideal candidate would have experience with plants, liners, and spraying greenhouses. Knowledge of plants is necessary along with cleaning trays, pruning and identifying pests.
Knowledge of greenhouse operation is helpful.
The job is M - F 8-4:30 and starts at $16.00 per hour. After 2 months, when proficiency is proven there will be a pay increase.
We have an average of 35 employees on the property each day processing plants to fill orders M - F.
