Duties

• Provide attentive supervision and care for children during daily activities, ensuring their safety at all times
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction
• Assist with basic needs such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and hygiene routines for infants and toddlers
• Support children’s emotional well-being through positive reinforcement, behavior management, and nurturing interactions
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to understand each child's unique needs, routines, and developmental goals
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards in daycare or classroom settings
• Use classroom management techniques to foster respectful behavior and encourage cooperative play among children

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Certification in first aid and CPR; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies and classroom experience in early childhood education environments
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience, energy, and professionalism
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and children
• Flexibility to adapt activities based on individual needs and developmental stages
