Automotive Technician

Floyd Imports is a small but growing automotive repair shop in Springfield, IL, specializing in import vehicles. We are looking for an experienced and skilled Import Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and a passion for working on import vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair various import vehicles including but not limited to Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, etc.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles to ensure they are operating at optimal performance
• Provide customers with recommendations on preventative maintenance and repairs needed
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technology and training in automotive repair
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an automotive technician, preferably with a focus on imports
• ASE certification or equivalent is a plus
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
