Job Summary
The Music Instructor will lead engaging, age-appropriate music lessons and activities for students in grades K–5 as part of our after-school program. The ideal candidate is passionate about music education, enjoys working with children, and can create a fun, inclusive environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and teamwork through music.
Duties
- Plan and implement dynamic music lessons that align with students’ developmental levels and interests.
- Teach basic music theory, rhythm, singing, and instrumental skills using creative and interactive methods.
- Incorporate a variety of musical genres, instruments, and cultural traditions to foster appreciation for music.
- Maintain a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and respect.
- Ensure the safety and supervision of all students during class time and transitions.
Monday-Friday 2:30PM-5:30PM
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.50 - $23.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
