Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Hosts and Hostess's to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials or promotions.
- Maintain an organized waiting area and ensure cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Assist in managing guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and tracking guest preferences.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting guests with inquiries or reservations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, but training will be provided.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
