Hairstylist/Cosmetologist

We are seeking an experienced and talented Hairstylist/Cosmetologist to join our Holistic salon team! Duties

• Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and features
• Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, hand massages, steam treatments and aromatherapy to promote elevated client services
• through consultation on color theory and face shapeto achieve desired looks
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring compliance with health regulations
• Use salon software like square for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and processing payments using Square
• Proficiency in hair styling, barbering , and customer service excellence

Experience

• Proven experience as a hairstylist or cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of diverse styling techniques
• Knowledge of hair extensions application, color theory, and advanced haircutting skills including barbering techniques
• Familiarity with salon management software like Square or similar platforms for scheduling and client records
• Strong understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Excellent communication skills to effectively consult with clients about styles, treatments, and product recommendations
• Experience in retail sales with the ability to upsell products like hair care items, products, or nail care essentials confidently
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also managing individual client needs efficiently
