Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Yard Laborer to assist with daily operations at our landscape supply yard. This role includes producing mulch, loading materials, maintaining yard organization, and assisting customers. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly preferred to help communicate with team members and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment to produce mulch (grinders, loaders, etc.)
- Sort, move, and process raw materials (wood, brush, pallets, etc.)
- Load and unload mulch, soil, rock, and other materials for customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard
- Assist walk-in customers with orders and basic questions
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Perform general labor tasks as needed (shoveling, stacking, cleanup)
Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions (heat, dust, heavy lifting)
- Dependable and punctual
- Basic equipment operation experience preferred (skid steer, loader, etc.)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Nice to Have:
- Experience in landscaping, construction, or yard work
- Familiarity with mulch production or similar processes
- Forklift or skid steer experience
50-55 hours per week with overtime
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
