Position Overview
The Grant Collection is seeking a highly organized and driven Venue Operations Manager to lead the daily operations, care, and presentation of our venues. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing venue care, team setup, and operational standards while ensuring excellence in cleanliness, organization, presentation, and policy.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of venue operations, ensuring spaces are organized, fully functional, and consistently guest-ready.
- Champion venue cleanliness and maintenance standards by proactively identifying and addressing areas for improvement.
- Manage department workflows, timelines, and operational processes to maximize efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and enforce venue policies and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies, including cleaning products, operational tools, and event essentials.
- Assist in leading, training, and coaching Venue Assistants by setting clear expectations and maintaining accountability.
- Conduct routine venue walkthroughs to ensure quality standards are consistently upheld.
- Prepare operational reports and provide leadership with insights and recommendations.
- Identify creative ways to elevate team, vendor, and guest experiences within the venue space.
- Collaborate with event teams to support seamless event execution.
- Address operational challenges quickly and professionally using strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and pride in the workplace.
- Coordinate and organize services related to the venue and grounds, working effectively with team members, vendors, maintenance, and service providers.
Work Schedule
This position primarily follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, supporting the operational needs of our venues during standard business hours.
On Thursdays and Fridays when events are scheduled, the Venue Operations Manager will coach, observe, and guide the event team during setup and team transition periods. This includes helping identify opportunities for improvement, ensuring standards are being followed, and supporting managers and team members as needed.
Occasional evening or weekend availability is required to assist with event coverage, team training, or operational support. These instances will be planned in advance whenever possible to promote work-life balance while ensuring the continued success of our events and venues.
