The Granite YMCA is hiring two part-time Site Directors/Coordinator to lead our Before/After School Child Care Programs in Windham - one for Center School and one for Golden Brook. Under the direction of the School Age Director, this role oversees day-to-day site operations, ensures compliance with NH Child Care Licensing regulations, and delivers high-quality youth programming during the critical “gap hours” after school.

- Part-time Site Director for Windham Center School: Monday–Friday, 2:00–5:30 PM prep hours
- Full-time Site Coordinator for Windham Golden Brook School: Monday–Friday, 6;45a - 8:15a and 2:30–6:00 PM prep hours
Additional paid hours available during school vacation camps, no-school day programs, and summer camp.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, organization, and implementation of daily curriculum and enrichment activities
- Maintain compliance with NH Child Care Licensing requirements and recordkeeping
- Promote YMCA core values and Character Development initiatives
- Supervise, train, and mentor program staff and volunteers
- Build strong partnerships with school administrators, families, and community members
Qualifications
Candidates must be at least 20 years old, have a high school diploma (or equivalent), and meet one of the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in elementary education or recreation
- Associate degree in child development, education, recreation, or related field
- Recreation director training 1,000 hours working with children in licensed childcare or education
- 12 credits in child-focused studies 1,000 hours working with children
- Current NH educator certification
- 2,000 hours experience working with children and:
- Para II certification or
- Enrollment in at least 3 credits of relevant coursework with plan to complete 6 credits in 12 months
