Position Explanation
This role may be responsible for all general warehouse, shipping and receiving duties or portions of these duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager or Branch Manager. This role may also serve as a back-up driver and will need to hold a medical card.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
This role may be responsible for all general warehouse, shipping and receiving duties or portions of these duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager or Branch Manager. This role may also serve as a back-up driver and will need to hold a medical card.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Record shipping information
- Receive all materials from branch transfers, Central Distribution and purchase order deliveries from vendors.
- Storing stock packages.
- Arrange shipments by outside sources, as needed.
- Verify packages/cartons/pallets
- Forklift Certification required
- Good data entry skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to use a computer and learn new systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Warehouse experience a plus.
