Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing strategic plans to improve nursing services and patient outcomes
- Support management of the organizational budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across departments
- Supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development
- Ensure compliance with state-specific education laws and healthcare regulations to maintain accreditation standards
- Lead initiatives in instructional leadership within clinical settings to promote best practices and continuous improvement
- Oversee personnel management in education for nursing staff, fostering a culture of learning and growth
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans and optimize operational workflows
- Manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage while maintaining high-quality care standards
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within healthcare or nursing leadership roles
- Strong background in strategic planning, organizational budget management, and team leadership
- Extensive knowledge of NYS education laws applicable to healthcare training programs or nursing education
- Demonstrated expertise in instructional leadership in clinical environments or educational institutions
- Experience supervising staff, managing personnel issues, and fostering a collaborative team environment
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple priorities effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher; Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- Valid nursing license and relevant certifications demonstrating professional competency
